Shaping the future of wastewater management at the 2026 EWWM

The European Wastewater Management (EWWM) Conference & Exhibition returns to the Telford International Centre on 16–17 June 2026, bringing together the wastewater community to share practical experiences, accelerate innovation and address the sector’s most pressing challenges.

Pavan Parshad, Head of Data Science and Modelling, Severn Trent will open the conference with a keynote address ‘How digital ecosystems and AI are transforming catchment management’.  Exploring how Severn Trent is leading a digital transformation through the concept of Connected Catchments.

On day two, keynote speaker Lisa Mansell, Chief Engineer (Innovation & Carbon), United Utilities will present ‘Accelerating innovation: driving efficiency and carbon reduction in AMP 8 and beyond’.  Drawing on real examples from United Utilities’ capital programme she will demonstrate why innovation must move beyond pilots and be embedded in mainstream delivery.

The programme also features panel discussions on PFAS and Trade effluents and tankered wastes, as well as an opportunity to visit the Severn Trent’s Net Zero Hub at Strongford for a practical look at innovation in action.

Networking remains a central pillar of EWWM. A sold‑out exhibition hall, poster displays and a programme of social activities will provide a dynamic environment for networking and knowledge exchange, helping attendees build relationships and explore new ideas in a relaxed setting.
